Love and Guidance from Angel Card Reading

Love and Guidance from Angel Card Reading

Do you believe in angels? In spiritual guides? In the existence of "other dimension"? In attracting positive energy in your life? In life after death? Well, I do. I am curious about all these things until met Ms. Evelyn Princess Buendia, an angeologist, and her angel guides. They studies how angels interact with people to reveal God's purpose. I never thought I would meet a real psychic and I was amazed.

I tried the angel card reading and here are the cards that reflect me. Angel cards tells your angel's message for you.

These two cards reflect what I need to develop. I need to find courage to face the challenges and accept the things that I cannot change. Sometimes life frustrates me. As an idealist, I want things to be under my control, but things are sometimes are not the way they are. I need to develop courage to face failures and keep on striving.

These four cards reflect what I am now and where I am going. The consciousness of my higher self has been "activated". It all started in  2014 when I began to ask questions about life. It also says that my dreams would come true and to follow them. In the process, I could see the beauty of life.

This card states my "life purpose" that I need to develop. I am not much of a talker (or am I) but encouraging people makes me feel satisfied and happy.

The last card which says "Helper of Thought" is like talking to my lazy self that I should get going and my life is about to start to move fast.

Actually, I am amazed to meet like-minded individuals. People who believe in higher dimension and spreading love to the world. You can visit their facebook page here. I believe everything happens for a reason, and there's a reason why I met them while I was looking for answers.

These cards are guides and it depends on you on how you process it. I take it with understanding and reflect on it. It feels good to think over about your life and doing your purpose. How about you? Do you believe in angels and that they bring message for the humanity?

Johann Coffee Corner / Coffee Shop

Johann Coffee Corner / Coffee Shop
Carbonara and Matcha blend

Coffee shops are booming in the city of Davao though I am not a fan of coffee still, I love to go somewhere with a couple of friends and talk about life or anything under the sun. I have a chance to visit one- Johann Coffee Corner. It's located in Obrero Street, situated near the Business class bar. The place is convenient since people from the bar can have a coffee or just chill after drinking. Surprisingly, you can drink  cup of coffee in less than Php 100.

Closer look of Carbonara
I tried their Carbonara. The taste is light, not the usual one that is loaded with heavy cream.

Closer look of Matcha Blend
I also tried their Matcha blend. The taste is also light, as the matcha does not overpower its creaminess.

Love. Is it an emotion or a state?

Love. Is it an emotion or a state?

A bird's nest.

There are different kinds of love, but this will be all about erotic love. This kind of love is exposed and boasted in social media with the #relationshipgoals. Surely, I have seen lovers that stayed together after all these years, some started dating in high school or college. Some have gone past through the professional life and some split up after years of being together. If the number of years of being in a relationship is not the basis to a happily ever after, then what? If the mutual love may soon fade away, then what is the assurance of relationship?

This kind of love may neither build or tear you down. It's risky and it actually depends. There is no assurance in this kind of love, not in this world, not in this lifetime. It's easy to build someone and easier to break them. Some may have undergone depression, to the point of losing themselves to someone who left them shattered. It may take months, years of moving on, who knows.

Could this kind love be just a feeling, that varies often? Or is it a state, a more stable one? How can you say that you are "in love"? The word love is one of the overused English word. It's easy to commit without actually having second thoughts or self-assessment and basing the decisions purely on the current moment of being in love. Could it be that the standards of being in love is shallow to others? That actually doesn't have a deeper meaning at all? That when you feel the butterflies in your stomach, or if you think of that someone often, then its love?

Falling out of love is typical with lovers that has spent years of being together. The spark may have gone or the other person has changed or whatsoever. If then, love could be just a feeling that fade through time. But don't get me wrong, there is also a love that is everlasting. But how can you determine if the kind of love you are in the present state is worthy of marriage?

Indeed, there's a lot of unanswered questions. Love will always be one of the greatest mysteries in this world.

DDI & Me,

DDI & Me,

I love to write and read as long as I can remember. I used to have a diary then, upgraded to blogging. Back then, blogging was not as popular as nowadays. Every time I tell people that I love to blog, most of the time, they don't get it. And I have to explain what it is and all. There I realized that bloggers are a rare species.

I started to blog because I want to write, to express and to interact. I used to have an online circle of friends and never actually thought that it will lead me into something. Back in college, when I was searching for some groups to be a part with, I stumbled upon this blogging organization. I never thought there are actually bloggers from my hometown. I was astounded. It has opened its way for me to be exposed to a lot of things. There I met awesome and down-to-earth people.

How it changed me as a person?
This organization has paved its way for me to meet people with same interest. It made me realize that the world is full of opportunities especially at times when people discourage me that blogging will not bring me to anywhere. It made me know my worth, as an influencer, no matter how simple I am, I have the power to send positivity to anyone who reads my blog, in my own simple ways.

I had been to numerous events and mingled with these awesome people but here is the list of my favorites!

I will not value what is valueless.

I will not value what is valueless.

I will not value what is valueless, and only what has value do I seek, for only that do I desire to find.
//133

Every day in our lives,  we are bombarded with different options and preferences. It is like deciding what to eat for lunch, or to as more complex as decisions that may affect our future endeavors. Our options are limitless just as much as the grains of sand. But the wider the range is, the more undecided we are, the more it takes us time to reflect which is the best decision. Sometimes when you are at the crossroads, you begin to question yourself, which is the right path for me? Obviously, people would tell you, "follow your heart". But, do we don't realize that sometimes, unconsciously or subconsciously, we are driven by the society, our family, or worst, our ego. How can you say, "this is what I really want?"

By distinguishing the things that have value and the things that are valueless will narrow down our choices and will help us make better choices. But the question is, what is valuable? What really matters to you?

Sometimes we are blinded by this world. It deceives us with the temporary things that have of no value at all. Things that are truly valuable are timeless, like a gold, that does not fade with time. Things that are of this world will not give you an everlasting satisfaction. Take time to question yourself and dissect things out. If in doubt with your decisions, always be reminded to ask for guidance, you will know that you are on the right path if you will feel light, peace, happy and loved. All of the positive things shall manifest.

Calm down and listen. The answer is there, all you need to do it to take the time to be silent.

Kaizen Davao | Japanese street dining

Kaizen Davao | Japanese street dining

Kaizen
/noun/
a Japanese business philosophy of continuous improvement of working practices, personal efficiency/ change for the better

I rarely go to Japanese restaurants, not that I don't like their dishes but I just don't. It was an amazing experience though because I think their food is legit. Overall I love it, the only downside is that you have to be early if you don't want to queue. We arrived there at 7:30 p.m. and it took us almost an hour before we were accommodated.

Chopsticks and wet towel

Ramen

Sticky rice

VALUE: ★★★★☆
ATMOSPHERE:★★★☆☆
SERVICE:★★★★☆ ( They are really accommodating and friendly)

High hopes

High hopes
Davao scene at 6 a.m
There are things in life that you just want to move on- bad past, trauma, toxic relationship, getting stuck at something and such things. And, it is hard. Let's be real here, it takes lots of courage and effort to make a difference. We all suffer from strongholds, getting stuck at something or dealing things over and over again. At times, we just get tired of it. We get tired of facing it every day, we are just humans, we have the rights to get tired. Then, along with the journey, you lost yourself. You don't know yourself anymore because you were consumed by your experiences and distress. Sometimes you even question your journey, if an ending does even exist?

When you are fed up with the situation, all the tears has been cried and all hurt has been felt. You just don't know what to feel next. When you feel numb and tired and misery, all at once. It is like tasting every worst state of life. When that happens, when on the verge of hopelessness and knowing that the situation is overwhelming, I just let it pass through. Let it be, don't fight. This way, you experience life in all angles, in a different perspective. Always grateful.

The thought of nothing lasts forever may be associated with break up, ending, or something that is misery. On the brighter side, it also means moving on. Moving on from the past that has been holding unto you for so long. Moving on to a better life that you have always imagined yourself to be. Moving on means hope. Time will come that a period will end our troubles, Time will end every misery. Just believe that the God or universe or whatever things you believe tom will take care of you. It may take time, but it will end. Just. hold. on. Always grateful.

Classroom to workplace

Classroom to workplace
Cupcake and fusion drink during acoustic nightlife.

This topic may sound cliche, a new graduate who is now at the workplace. I used to be one of those college students who cram for homework, freak out during a surprise quiz and sometimes comes late to class. I had a love and hate relationship with my thesis which is somewhat one of the biggest hurdles I had ever encountered. My last years in the university seemed to be the longest and the hardest. Also, those were also the years where I learned about the things that are not taught in the classroom. We are not taught how to have hope when it seems like there is none, how to believe in yourself when there is no more in you that you could believe in, and how to stand up when every hard work is falling apart. I was always looking forward to the day that I will write about this article, to declare that I'm officially in the so-called real world. Woah! I've been through a lot- I've been stuck in reverse where the road to graduation seemed to be endless.

When I was in college, I always thought that this world is a trap. (It sounds weird because I'm not used to when I say was in college. Still, I can't believe that I finished college already). This studying idea is a trap and going to work is a trap. When I was almost done with my thesis and thought about my whereabouts after college, it often leaves me clueless. My perception about working is often translated to something negative. Most of my peers, when asked about their workplace, would often say "Nah", "let's not talk about it" or "it's a trap" as if it's something a burden. Instead, I took a rest for a while and prayed. There were various of offers available but most of the time, the workplace is too far. There came a moment when an offer came to me. It was none of my plans to take it, but Yes, I did took it. Everything is just great.

How is my first job experience?

Some of my friends once said to me that we'll never be happy with our first jobs (generally speaking). But I beg to disagree because as much as I am enjoying new things, I love what I'm doing right now. To give you an idea about my current job, I'm actually a research assistant at our university. I know I'm still at my comfort zone, I don't know if this is considered as 'real world' but still, I love it.

Even though I'm already "working", I still have free time. I join church events such as the acoustic night life. I'm working on my spirituality which I can't do when I was still studying because of the very hectic schedule.

3 Misconceptions about working:

It's a trap/toxic. This depends on what kind of environment you have in your workplace. You'll never know if it's for you or not unless you try.

Working is worse than schooling. For me, no. From what I had experience, my college life is stressful. I can't even remember if I ever had a decent and peaceful rest especially when I was doing my thesis. When you are studying, you have lots of free time (summer break, Christmas break, holidays and etc), but end up stressed of the assignments and homework for the next day. In my case, I leave my work at the office. When I go home, there's nothing I think about. This also depends on what kind of job you have. My schedule is eight hours a day and five times a week. I can enjoy my weekends like a normal person. Some people have only one day off per week and on shifting schedule, that will be stressful though.

The "real" world is scary. Every unknown is always scary. Unless you take a leap of faith, you will never know what is waiting on the other side.

THE SUNDAY CURRENTLY | VOL 03

THE SUNDAY CURRENTLY | VOL 03

It's been a while since I wrote this series. This post is not the typical one since this will consist my reflections since Thursday (Holy Thursday) to Easter Sunday. To give you an overview, I live in a country which comprises a large population of Christians/Catholics. Thus, we celebrate Holy week annually and most of the time it's a Holiday. A perfect time to redeem the lost and compromised quiet time because of the distractions of the world.

Today I realized Five important things.

The happy little things. (Sounds cliche but often missed). It's been on my routine to go to church every Sunday, then eat somewhere with a friend for almost a month now. I guess I had overlooked it before as it became a "habit". But it had made me aware that I am so blessed to have a buddy whom I can talk to about anything, a friend that I know will never judge me. In a world like we have, it's easy to meet new people but difficult to find a true friend. I tell you, one true friend outweighs superficial acquaintances.

Blue skies, fluffy clouds, sun casting golden rays and turning the horizon red, happy faces of ordinary people, city lights, tall proud buildings, starry and peaceful nights. These things are some of the reasons for living. They represent life.

The importance of our spiritual being. It's easy to determine whether we are healthy physically if we are getting fat or become too thin. But our spirituality, it's invisible. It's something we often give the least attention to. In this noisy, busy and fast-paced world, spirituality is something "last" on our list. We may never know but, we need to feed it and nurture it like our physical body. Sometimes I forget to ask myself within, "Am I healthy deep inside?".

Many people have empty lives. Work to Live and Live to Work. There are people who work hard day and night, to fulfill their Vacation Goals. Most of our goals are for personal benefit/growth, it's not bad though. We invest in materials things, travels or even mutual funds. But, it's not also bad if we invest ourselves in nurturing our spirituality.

Always be thankful. A friend of mine shared this with me. One of my friends once said that one sign of maturity is saying thank you rather than asking for things. We are so blessed of what we have. Though there may be times that we in doubt because as if God is against us. Still, be thankful. He will use every circumstance to mold you, to change your heart and your perspective. Remember that delayed victories are the sweetest!

Challenges never end. I always thought that life would be simpler when I reach college. When I was in college, I thought life would be better when I graduate. But no, every stage has its problems to be conquered. Life is a series of unfortunate events. Unless you change your perspective about it. It's about how you look at it, it's all about how you think of it. When problems arise, hold unto God, always.

At the end, we will all still die. All our material possessions, even our body will soon decay. I hope we will all be ready when that time comes by living our lives to the fullest and according to our purpose.

I hope you were inspired by this post. I would appreciate if you would share me your reflections.
